Five motorcyclists die in accidents in the past 24 hours

Five motorcyclists have died in motor traffic accidents during the past 24 hours.

The deceased included two motorcyclists who collided head on along Hidogama- Nachchaduwa Shrawasthipura road.

They were residents of Thurawila and Nachchaduwa.

A 33-year-old man died in a separate incident in Himbutana junction, Seeduwa, in a separate incident.

Another man, 60, died when he attempted to overtake a vehicle in Mukkampan junction along Punareen- Paranthan road.

The other casualty was a 57-year-old man who dies during an accident involving two three-wheelers and a motorbike at the Akmeemana- Pinnaduwa expressway exit.
