President appoints a committee to probe Meethotamulla tragedy

President Maithripala Sirisena expressed his views about the Meethotamulla incident.

He said that a committee chaired by a retired judge will be appointed to probe the incident.

The President said that the committee will find out who should be held responsible for the tragedy.
