Animal Drugs mistakenly issued for Human medicine in Gampaha

It was reported to Hiru news that animal drugs have been sold at a drug store mistaken for human medicine, in Asgiriya area in Gampaha.

A woman has visited a drug store in Gampaha following a hand injury and the store has issued wrong medicine to the woman which has been identified as animal drugs.

According to our correspondent, an official complaint is to be made to Gamapaha MOH office today regarding this incident.
