Bonds Commission resumes duty today, after New Year holiday

The presidential commission appointed to investigate the central bank bond issue will convene today for the first time since  the New Year holidays.

Secretary of the Communist party DEW Gunasekara is scheduled to arrive at the commission today to give evidence.

Meanwhile, the commission has also summoned Chairman of the COPE Committee, MP Sunil Handuneththi and Deputy Minister Harsha De Silva.
