Agreements will not be signed during Modi’s visit; Says the President

President Maithripala Sirisena stated that no agreement will be signed during Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s visit to Sri Lanka.

Speaking at a ceremony held in Oddamaawadi Maha Vidyalaya in Battocaloa today, the president stated that the Indian premier is visiting Sri Lanka to take part in the United Nations Vesak Day celebrations on an invitation extended by him.
