Five Indian fishermen arrested in Sri Lankan waters

Sri Lankan Navy has detained 5 Indian fishermen who crossed the Sri Lankan sea border with their boat.

Navy said that the suspects have been engaged in illegal fishing activities in the waters North to Mannar.

A speed boat of the Navy has been utilized for the arrest.

Furthermore, Navy has issued a notice sating that the arrested fishermen and their bought would be handed over to the Assistant Director’s office of Fisheries in Mannar.
