Fire erupts in Badulla-Alugolla Forest Reserve

A fire has erupted in Alugolla Forest Reserve in Badulla yesterday.

Police said that the fire could be put down before it spreaded to the underground drug store located nearby in the area.

According to our correspondent, army, villagers and police has together put down the fire.

Police suspects that animal hunters may have put up the fire in the reserve.

Total number infected exceed 780,000 while the death toll rises to 37,780
