Gammanpila granted permission to travel abroad

Secretary of Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, MP Udaya Gammanpila was granted permission by the court to travel to the US during the period from 18th to 24th of May.

Colombo High Court Judge, A.A.R.Heyiyanthuduwa ordered to grant permission to release MP Gammanpila’s passport on a private bail amounting to Rs. 2 million.

The court had been informed by the Immigration and Emigration Controller to grant permission for Gammanpila to go abroad.

However, Colombo High Court Judge further ordered to take the passport back to custody as soon as Gammanpila arrives home.
