2 motorcyclists wearing full face helmets rob 3.1 million rupees

Nearly 3.1 million rupees have been robbed from a private institution while the money was taken to be deposited in a bank at Aramanagolla in Horana this noon.

Police said two motor cyclists wearing full-face helmets have carried out the robbery while the money was being transported by a van.

Police also said the two robbers armed with a gun were wearing clothes similar to army uniforms.

Several police teams have been deployed to arrest the suspects.
