A child and a youth gone missing in Gampola

A 2 ½ year-old child and a 26 year-old youth in the same residence in Gangawata-Gampola has gone missing.

Speaking to Hiru news team, father of the child said that they have gone missing since last evening.

Father of the child further said that they have gone missing while bringing lunch for him to his working place.

Making an announcement regarding the case, Police Media Division stated that the youth has suffered from ill mental condition and has been receiving treatments.

However, they further remark that further investigations are underway.
