The Wife, Daughter and Son in-law connected to the missing individual in Wattala, flees

The wife, daughter and son in law of the 65 year old individual reported missing from Wattala- Kerawalapitiya, has fled from their residence.

Police have commenced investigations into arresting the wife and daughter on suspicion of murdering the respective individual.

Investigations have been launched following a tipoff received by the Wattala police OIC with regard to a statement provided by the wife and daughter noting that the missing individual has left the country.

According to immigration and emigration information it has come to light that the individual has not travelled abroad.

It has been reported that the Wattala police officers and the Kelaniya division criminal investigation officers have conducted a search operation upon a court order received.

Several police teams have been deployed to arrest the wife, daughter and son in law who had fled.
