In Kinniya a Father files a Complaint regarding blood being drawn from his son by an unknown individual

In Kinniya a father lodged a complaint with police stating that an unidentified person had obtained a blood sample of his son during school interval.

The incident was reported last Friday afternoon.

a year 6 student from Al Adaan college in Kinniya in Trincomalee said that a person dressed in white had come during the school interval and obtained his blood sample.

The student who is a resident of Faisaal town in Kinniya had informed his father that afternoon about the incident.

The child’s father said that when he inquired from the school principal about the incident the principal replied that he had no knowledge of such a procedure taking place on school grounds.

Reports say that the Trincomalee hospital has obtained a blood sample from the student concerned for subsequent investigations.
