An+earthquake+of+6.0+magnitude+hit+the+southern+Japan

A strong earthquake has hit the southern Japan today, though there was no tsunami warning nor immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The magnitude 6.0 quake has hit at a depth of 10km in waters off the island of Miyako in the southern Okinawan chain, according to the US Geological Survey.

Japan's Meteorological Agency warned of small changes in sea levels but no tsunami.
