Former President pays final respect to his younger sister (photos)

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's younger sister Gandhini Vichithra Rajapaksa Ranawaka passed away in the daybreak yesterday.

She passed away at a private hospital in Colombo at the age of 58.

Gandhini was the youngest of the family of 9, and her family members including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family visited the Borella Jayarathne Funeral Directors' where her remains lied at, to pay the final respect.

Final rites of the funeral would be performed tomorrow in Udahamulla Cemetery.
