President Maithreepala Sirisena says that there would be no amendments in the constitution to bring about harm to Buddhism.

He stated this during a live telecast last night, whilst speaking on hosting the International Vesak Celebrations, in Sri Lanka.

the president was queried about  allegations stating that an amendment has been included in the new constitution which could be detrimental to Buddhism.
