Several villagers in Sewanagala attacked by wild elephants

Katuwanayaya and Elisankanda areas in Sewanagala Divisional Secretariat have been invaded by wild elephants last night.

It has been reported that the crops and the houses belonging to people have been severely damaged by the wild elephant attacks.

Moreover, villagers complain that they suffer from this issue since some years, yet no responsible authority has intervened to solve the issue.
