Massive crowds gather for HIRU Uttama Dhathu Vandana for the second day – Devotees line up for miles from Ridi Viharaya premises

Massive number of Devotees are still making their way to the Ridi Viharaya in Kurunegala to pay homage to the Kapilawasthu Relics. 

The Dhathu exposition has been organized by HIRU TV and HIRU FM of Asia Broadcasting Corporation to commemorate the birth of Prince Siddhartha, his enlightenment and the Parinirvana of the Buddha.

The HIRU Uttama Dhathu Vandana festival is organized according to a concept by Chairman of Asia Broadcasting Cooperation Mr. Rayynor Silva for the 5th consecutive year.

Thousands of devotees have already paid homage to the Kapilawasthu Exact Relics since the exposition commenced early morning yesterday.  

Thousands of more devotees have still lined up to pay homage to the sacred relics.

Amid the sounds of tom-tom beating and ‘Sadhu nada” of thousands of devotees, the relics were positioned in a special shrine yesterday morning by Chairman of Asia Broadcasting Corporation Mr. Rayynor Silva.
