Indian Prime Minister declare open Dik Oya hospital complex

The Dik Oya hospital complex funded by Indian Government was declared open by visiting Indian Premier Narendra Modi this noon.

President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Health Minister Rajitha Senarathna and several others were present at the opening.

India has spent over 120 Indian Crore to build this hospital complex. 

At the same time, visiting Indian premier will participate in a public rally to be held at Danbar in Norwood this afternoon.

Later the Indian Prime Minister is scheduled to pay homage to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy.
