Fragments of bones found in a site in Colombo Fort

Several fragments of bones have been found during an excavation in a site near galleface green in Colombo Fort.

When our news team inquired into the matter from the police media spokesperson DIG Priyantha Jayakodi, he noted that the site was a cemetery in 1989.

Thus, suspicions have arisen that the fragments of bones belong to those who were buried in the cemetery.

However, the police media spokesperson noted that an investigation is being conducted in this regard.
