Suspend student intakes; Government requests SAITM

The government has requested SAITM to suspend student intakes until the government’s decisions on private medical education and SAITM are implemented.

Speaking to our news team, Minister of Highways & Higher Education, Lakshman Kiriella stated that SAITM has already been informed about this matter.

Meanwhile, the minister stated that an investigation has commenced on the hand grenade which was found in the Sri Lanka Medical Council premises yesterday.
