No room for extremists; Government replies Sivagilingam again

Northern Provincial Councilor M.K. Sivajilingam says that the government makes allegations against those who appear for Tamil’s issues without finding solutions to real problems of Tamils.

Sivajilingam stated this in response to a statement made yesterday by State Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene in Trincomalee today.

Addressing a media conference held in Colombo yesterday, State Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene commented on sivajilingam’s preparation to mark a genocide week.

Meanwhile, former MP Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera stated at a media conference convened by Jathika Sanvidhana Sammelanaya that Sivajilingam has no right to speak on behalf of Northern Tamils.
