Update : Twelve injured in Wellawatta building collapse hospitalized; mission underway to rescue the trapped

Update : Thirteen people have been admitted to the Kalubowila hospital while six have been admitted to the Colombo naional Hospital due to being injured at the building collapse in Wellawatta.

Moreover, several people are reported to be trapped in the collapsed building premises.

Police say that a special mission is underway in collaboration with the Fire Brigade and the Rescue Units to rescue the affected at the moment.
