President Maithripala Sirisena said that unlike most  countries,  the constitution has not imposed limitations on professionals.

The President said so while participating at the inauguration of the teaching hospital belonging to  the Kotalaawala Defence College yesterday.

Meanwhile President Maithripala Sirisena will leave for Australia on a state visit today.

This visit marks the second time a Sri Lankan Head of State is visiting Australia on invitation.

The first was in 1954, when Prime Minister Sir John Kotelawala visited Australia.

President Sirisena who begins his Australian tour on May 23 will return to sri lanka on May 26.
