The dead body of the doctor who went missing after falling into the Makeli waterfall in Makeliya was found yesterday.

Baduraliya police said that this person has climbed into a rock to click a selfie where he slipped his feet and fell into the reservoir.

Police further said that the 27 year old doctor has fallen into a deep area of the waterfall.

The dead body has been found as a result of a joint mission carried out by the villagers and the Navy.

It is reported that the deceased has encountered this tragedy when he arrived in Agalawatta Naitonal Educational Training Centre to follow a Tamil course.

The body has been sent to nagoda hospital to conduct the post mortem.
