SLFP to take disciplinary actions against their members who break the rules

It has been decided in the SLFP and Central Committee Meeting to take tough disciplinary actions against the public representatives and members of the SLFP and UPFA Parties who violate rules.

A special committee meeting of the SLFP was held yesterday chaired by the President Sirisena.

Speaking to media after the meeting, Southern Provincial Chief Minister Shan Wijelal remarked that a committee was appointed with Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva in the Chair in order to present the the opinion of SLFP on the interim report of the Constituent Board.

Meanwhile, Joint Opposition MP Kumara Welgama also participated in the meeting as a member of the Central Committee.
