Police to take action to bring Angoda Lokka from Chennai

Police state that swift action will be taken to bring the main suspect , angoda lokka and Ladiyaa, another suspect believed to be involved in the samayan murder, back to sri lanka from Chennai

Both were arrested in Chennai while they were about to board a flight to Dubai,

to join their underworld leader Madush.

Aruna Damith Udayanga aka Samayang and 6 others, including two prisons officers were killed during a shooting spree targeting two prison buses at Ethanamadala in Kalutara on February 27th.

Subsequent investigations revealed the murder had been planned by two underworld Gang leaders Lasantha Chandana Perera aka Angoda Lokka and Madush.

Two days after the attack, Angoda Lokka and ladiya, one of his close associates had fled to India by sea.

A senior police officer involved in the ongoing investigations said that the two suspects were arrested after information had been provided to Indian police.
