Court case filed against Prasanna Ranathunge to be heard continuously from the 23rd of August

The court case filed against MP Prasanna Ranathunge, his wife and one other person over 15 indictments including obtaining Rs.64 million from a person while threatening him, assuring to give a part of land from Meethotamulla area has been ordered to be heard daily from the 23rd of August.

The accused, MP Prasanna and his wife were permitted to go abroad within the time period from June 28 to july 21, when the case was heard at the presence of Colombo Chief Highcourt Judge, following their request made to the Court.
