Government+decides+to+take+stern+legal+action+against+assault+incidents

The Cabinet has decided to take stern legal action against various assaults being taken place in different parts of the island.

The first Cabinet meeting was held this morning after being reshuffled yesterday.

Addressing the media, joint Cabinet Spokesman minister Gayantha Karunathilaka said the government condemns such incidents reported recently.
