Met Department has announced, as the cyclonic storm ‘MORA’ has crossed Bangaladesh coast today, possibility for heavy rain and strong winds will reduce by tomorrow (31st May).

However cloudy skies, windy and showery conditions are expected over the country today.

Moreover, very strong winds about 60-70 kmph can be expected over the country, and these windy conditions are especially expected over the western slope of the central hills, surrounding sea areas.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, North-western and Central provinces.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces particularly in the afternoon.
