The Ministry of External Affairs stated that no Sri Lankans were affected by the London terror attacks.

Also no harm has been caused to the Sri Lanka Cricket Team which is currently in England for the ICC Champions Trophy.

Six people have been killed in an attack in central London in which three assailants were shot dead by police.

Meanwhie, President Maithripala Sirisena expressed his condolences over the London Terrorist attack.

President Sirisena in a twitter message said that the London bridge terror rampage is a cowardly act and said that his thoughts are with the people of London in this hour of grief.
