TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran says that his party will protest if the entire board of ministers of the Northern Provincial Council is reshuffled.

MP Sumandiran announced this to our news team when he was asked to comment on certain media reports that Northern Chief Minister C.V. Wigneshwaran has decided to remove four ministers that have corruption allegations against them, and appoint a new board of ministers.

Chief Minister Wigneshwaran appointed a panel of three members including a retired high court judge, to probe the corruption charges against his provincial ministers.

The panel decided that 4 ministers of the provincial council are indeed involved in corruption.

A debate over the panel decision will be held at the provincial council complex tomorrow.

TNA media spokesman MP Sumanthiran said that only Education Minister T. Guru-kula-rajah and Agriculture Minister P. I-in-dran-nation should be removed as evidence proved those  corruption allegations against to be true.

However it has reported that a majority of councillors had requested that the chief minister remove two other accused, Fisheries Minister P. Tenishwaran and Health Minister P Sathyalingam. They also requested that a  new board of ministers should be appointed.

However MP Sumandiran said that his party will protest against any plan to remove fisheries and health ministers.
