Police have identified over 100 IUSF members who trespassed and caused damage to public property at the ministry of Health last Wednesday.

A senior police officer confirmed that five teams attached to the Colombo Crime Division, who were involved in the investigation, have been deployed to carry out the arrests.

He further said that footage from CCTV cameras in the area along with other video footage is being scrutinized.

Two ISUF members were arrested from Domba-gaha-wela in

Siyambal-aanduwa and Kataana yesterday.

Five university students including IUSF convener Lahiru Weerasekera and IUSF monks’ federation convenor Tampitiye Sugathaananda Thera were previously remanded, and will be in remand custody until July 5th .
