15 dengue breeding sites discovered at Moratuwa University, Death toll reaches 226

The ministry of Health has reported 15 locations with Dengue mosquito larvae were discovered at the Moratuwa University premises.

The Ministry said that in addition to this, there were other potential sites where Dengue mosquitos could breed.

 These sites were fumigated immediately.

The Moratuwa University was recently closed due to the spread of the Dengue amongst students,

a 23 year old female student from the ICT faculty died from contracting the disease.

The deceased was a resident of Matale.
