Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Yoshita Rajapaksa arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department a short while ago.

He will be testified in relation to the ongoing investigation regarding a defender vehicle that had been used by the “Siriliya Saviya Foundation” during the former regime.

Meanwhile, yesterday former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa was questioned by the CID for approximately three hours.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Yoshita Rajapaksa is scheduled to appear before the CID today.

He will be testified in relation to the ongoing investigation regarding a defender vehicle that had been used by the “Siriliya Saviya Foundation” during the former regime.

Meanwhile, former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa was questioned by the CID for approximately three hours yesterday.

She was accompanied to the CID by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, MP Namal Rajapaksa and Yoshitha Rajapaksa.

In addition the Former president Mahinda Rajapaksa’s youngest son Rohitha Rajapaksa reported to the FCID yesterday.

Rohitha was summoned to record a statement relating to the investigation being conducted in connection to a 320 million rupee satellite project.
