Navy commander wants one year to curb drug smuggling

Navy Commandeer Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah wanted one year to curb narcotic smuggling to the country.

He said this after paying homage to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy today (25).

The Navy Commander paid courtesy calls on the Chief Prelates of the Malwathu and the Asgiri Chapters.

He also said several vessels will be added to the naval fleet very soon.
