Indian External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj has arrived in the island. Our airport correspondent said she arrived at around 4.30pm today (31).

She is in Sri Lanka to attend the Indian Ocean Conference being held in Colombo. Swaraj will address the inaugural session of the conference.

During the visit, Swaraj will be calling on the President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, a statement from the Indian External Affairs Ministry said.
