Yoshitha seeks alternative date from FCID

Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has informed that he is unable to report to FCID today due to a personal reason.

His lawyers have sought two weeks more for their client to appear before FCID.

Yoshitha has been called to the FCID today (12) to record a statement with regard to the investigations being conducted on purchasing a bloc of land and a house in the name of his grandmother Daisy Forest on Mihindu Mawatha at Mt. Lavinia and another land at Kekatiya place in Ratmalana.

Meanwhile, the FCID has obtained a Court Order to record a statement from Yoshitha Rajapaksa’s grandmother Daisy Forest with regard to this investigation on 20th of September.
