The Acting Solicitor General and President Counsel Dappula de Livera quoting unofficial sources informed the Bond Commission that Arjun Aloysius may have fled the country.

At that point, the President Counsel appearing for Arjun Aloysius rejected the particular claim and said that his client will appear before the Bond Commission tomorrow.

He also said that a team of policemen had visited Arjun Aloysius’s residence.

Then the State Counsel said that the police team has visited Aloysius’s residence as he failed to provide his bank statements to the Commission.

At that point, Arjun Aloysius’s lawyer said that his client has not received required bank statements from the respective banks and that the reports will be presented to the Commission soon after they are received.

In addition, Arjun Aloysius’s lawyer said that the details with regard to Aloysius’s distillery company W. M. Mendis Limited will be presented to the Commission tomorrow.
