North Korea is planning to test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean.

North Korean top diplomat said the country planned to test the bomb to fulfill Kim Jong Un's vow to take the 'highest-level of hardline counter-measure in history' against the US.

Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said it 'could be the most powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific', according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency. 

The threat comes after US President Donald Trump said he would 'totally destroy' North Korea. 

'I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire, he has made unprecedented rude nonsense one has never heard from any of his predecessors. A frightened dog barks louder', voiced the North Korean Leader in a rare direct statement, referring to Trump. 

'I'd like to advise Trump to exercise prudence in selecting words and to be considerate of whom he speaks to when making a speech in front of the world,' the statement further said. 

'Whatever Trump might have expected, he will face results beyond his expectation,' warned Kim.
