The District Secretary of Badulla, Nimal Abeysiri visited Kirindi Oya in Bandarawela, which has dried up.

The residents of Ambadandegama in Bandarawela recieved water from Kirindi Oya for their needs.

The District Secretary said he will prepare a report and will submit it to the National Building Research Organization.

The NBRO officials were joined in the inpection tour.

Meanwhile, the villagers charge that Kirindi Oya has run dry as a result of the Uma Oya Project.
