MP Namal Rajapaksa has arrived at Hambantota Police.

He was summoned to record a statement over last Friday's Joint Opposition protest in Hambantota.

MP Namal goes to Hambantota Police today
MP Namal Rajapaksa who has been summoned by Hambantota Police to record a statement tomorrow (10), is proceeding to police today (09).

He has been summoned relating to last Friday’s (06) protest in Hambantota.

The protest was organized by Joint Opposition against the government move to lease out Mattala International Airport to an Indian firm.

MP’s D. V. Chanka and Prasanna Ranaweera have also been asked to report to Hambantota Police tomorrow.
