15 eateries in Hungama and Ambalantota found to be unhygienic

The Public Health Inspectors have conducted a sudden inspection of eateries in Hungama and Ambalantota area for their quality standards.

The inspection was carried out last night (19).

The officers have checked 45 eateries and restaurants during this exercise and it was found that 15 eateries were using unhygienic methods to store and prepare food.

The owners have been given 2 weeks to rectify their issues.

The officials have also obtained samples from 10 eateries to be sent to the Government Analyst.
