Kitulkote residents get exorbitantly high water bills

The residents of Kitulkote Teachers' Village in Thanamalwila say that they are receiving exorbitantly high water bills since of late.

They said earlier their water bills were within the range of Rs. 300 and Rs. 500 and now it has suddenly gone up to Rs. 5000 and Rs.10,000.

They said they are confused about this revision. The residents added that although the Water Board is informed about this, they have ignored the complaints.
