Woman knocked down by speeding lorry in Bulathkulama

A speeding lorry transporting cattle had collided with a motorcycle killing the woman who was riding it, in Bulankulama on the Anuradhapura-Puttalam Main Road this morning (26).
Police said the pillion rider who was also a woman and the lorry driver sustained injuries in the mishap.
Police said lorry had skipped off the road before hitting the motorcycle.
The victim was a resident of Nochchiyagama.
