Over 5400 army deserters seek legal discharge during General Amnesty

The General Amnesty extended for Army deserters has received a good response with 5412 Army absentees reporting to their respective Regimental Headquarters seeking legal discharge.
 
As of yesterday, 6 Officers, 6 Officer Cadets and 5400 Other Ranks of the Army, considered as Absent without Official Leave have sought legal discharge.
 
The general amnesty period which came into effect on 23rd of October will end on the 15th of this month.
