It has been reported that certain filling stations located out of Colombo, is yet to receive enough petrol stocks.

The Managing Director of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Limited, Sanjeewa Wijeratne noted that this is due to the delay in transportation.

A special hotline has been introduced to inform if necessary stocks of petrol have not been received and if extra stocks of petrol are needed.
Accordingly, the CPSTL has assigned 011 5455130 for that purpose.

Meanwhile, Minister Sarath Amunugama, a member of the Ministerial Sub-Committee appointed to probe the petrol crisis said that the report compiled by them will be handed over on Tuesday (14).
