10-year-old boy drowns in Wennappuwa

Police say a 10-year-old boy was reported missing after he had gone sea in Wennappuwa to bath with another friend.
 
The missing boy is a resident of Haldanduwana, Dankotuwa.
 
However, the victim's friend was managed to swim back safely.
 
Initial investigations reveal that the two friends had gone to sea without informing their parents.
 
Meanwhile, in Ginigathhena an Advanced Level student of Dharmaraja College, Kandy had drowned in the Aberdeen waterfall.
 
He was a resident of Danthure, Hatharaliyadda.
 
Ginigathhena Police said the victim was among a group of friends who were bathing in the waterfall.
