TNA meets to decide on voting with regard to budget 2018

The TNA will meet this afternoon to decide on how they will vote relating to the Budget 2018.

Other political parties have voted during the debate on the Second Reading.

Opposition Leader R. Sampandan who participated in the debate on its 6thday voiced a positive stance with regard to the budget.

TELO, PLOT, EPRLF and Ilangai Tamil Arasu Kachchi are the coalitions of the TNA.

Varying  views were expressed in voting due to clashes between the coalitions and   Ilangai Tamil Arasu Kachchi.

When our news team contacted MP Shivashakthi Anandan of the EPRLF, he said that he would refrain from casting a vote.

He has taken this decision as he was not permtted to participate in the budget debate.
