The Joint Opposition complained to the Bribery Commission today (17) asking it to investigate the assets of the 5 COPE members and their associates who had telephone contacts with Perpetual Treasuries owner, Arjun Aloysius.

Earlier this morning, the Joint Opposition stated in a media conference that it would request the Speaker to suspend those 5 Parliamentarians from COPE membership.

Meanwhile, views were expressed over the controversial Central Bank Bond issuance in parliament today as well.
