Northern Governor seeks legal assistance regarding Northern Education Minister's action

Governor of the Northern Province, Reginald Cooray says that legal assistance will be sought from the Attorney General against the Education Minister of the Northern Provincial Council who had refused to hoist the national flag.

The Governor of the Northern Province disclosed this in response to a question posed by our news team.

The Education Minister of the Northern Provincial Council, S. Sarveshwaran who recently attended a function held at Perakum Maha Vidyalaya in Irattaperiyakulam – Vavuniya as the Chief Guest, had refused to hoist the national flag at the function.
